Hope everybody enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day ☘️☘️☘️ Here is some work to complete while the school is closed. The work below is the same work as you were given to complete on the last day of school. Please look at the blog every Monday evening for updates. As well as the work below remember to enjoy time playing with your brothers and sisters and just spending time with you family. If you want to create a story on write reader I will be looking forward to reading them. Please try and read a little every day and practise your tables. Get your work done but also have fun and be creative and try to do a little every day to help out at home 👌😃

Hi,
Do we check every Monday for the weeks work ahead.
Does this blog apply for both Robert and Aaron Stokes as they are in different classes?
Thanks

Hi John,
Hope you are all keeping well. Say hi to the boys for me hope they are finding the work ok.
Both Mr. O Brien and myself gave both 5th class groups the same work on the final day of school 2 weeks ago, which included work from their school books. Next Monday morning we will update that work and ensure that we are giving the same for both classes. If you scroll down through my blog I have also posted this work. Please remember these are just suggestions on work that would help the children with revision. If it is not completed that is ok. We do not want to add any stress to family life right now as we are very aware these are very unusual circumstances.
In addition to the work posted I am posting the answers to their MYM daily columns on my post so they can self correct and can comment me if they need help understanding any of the concepts.
While the work from the workbooks are the same, I am also updating the blog daily with some activities or suggestions the children might enjoy, This may differ from what Mr. O Brien is posting. As I said it is all additional fun activities so they can both do whatever they want from that. These activities include free audio books that David Walliams has now released, maths challenges, creating books online and some writing competitions.
If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask. The most important thing is that the children are happy, safe and not stressed or anxious. Reading daily would be a huge benefit to all children and playing tables games together. But most important is getting some fresh air, laying together, even just talking with each other.
Hope this is of some help.
Thanks,
Therese
