5th Class: The Final Countdown

Hello to all my friends in Rang a Cúig. We have reached the final week of school. it has not been the end to school that we all expected, however well done to everybody who made the most of distance learning. It has not been an easy journey for any of us….. with technical difficulties, batteries dying and internet dropping and that’s just a typical Monday!

Yet we have managed to get through it. We have become tech savy, blogging, emailing and distancing learning experts, but we all know it is not the same. It is way more fun watching the teacher making mistakes live in the classroom and having a good laugh! We are not sure how things will be in school in September , but the main thing is don’t worry. That’s a job for the Leo Vradkar, Micheál Martin and the government to figure out! They want us back in the classroom asap. So leave them work it out!

This week, we have our Sports Week. You will find a host of activities on the Padlet on the school homepage – click the link Click Me for Sports Day Activities

Have fun trying them out, challenge your family and friends to some of the activities!

Also, as we start our summer holidays, it is important to be safe and responsible- on the road, in the water, on the farm etc.  Around this time we usually look at water safety in school which is called PAWS ( Primary Aquatic Water Safey). Check out the link for  5th/6th class PAWS;

Keep sending in photos and emails during the week, Thursday is officially our last day!
